[ Billy took a deep breath as he stared at the entrance to Midtown School of Science and Technology. The first day of senior year, the first day in a new school, the first day of people not knowing what happened at his last school. It was pure luck that his powers manifested on the last day of school in June, at the end of the day even. Not many people had seen him blast the school bully across the hall, but enough people were there that he had begged his parents to transfer him somewhere else. Somewhere no one knew him. Somewhere a rumor wouldn't have reached yet...so Queens.
He took another breath and shouldered his backpack. The only thing left to do was walk in, and not zap anyone with lightning until graduation. Totally doable. He just had to keep his head down and not get into trouble for the next ten months. Easy.... ]
